About us

Our mission

Truckee Community Cares, formerly Truckee Community Christmas, is an all-volunteer nonprofit that has helped Truckee families during the holidays for more than 30 years. We welcome all faiths and beliefs. We work with Soroptimist International of Truckee Donner, local churches, the Family Resource Center, Project MANA, schools, and local businesses to find families who need a hand and to raise the funds to help.
